WordPress 2.7 was released yesterday, and like a lot of people I upgraded by blog. Upgrading was a massive pain as usual, but hopefully that’s the last time I’ll have to do it 😀
There are a lot of really nice things about 2.7 which are covered ad nauseum elsewhere, so I won’t echo them. The improvements seem to be all for blog writers not readers except for the new threaded comments which I don’t use (I use Disqus). I’m not complaining – I’m writing this post using the new “New Post” screen and it’s excellent – I’m just saying that the people reading this probably won’t notice any difference.
So far my theme and all my plugins seem to be working.
The flash file uploader works again – hooray!
