Having problems with Battlefield 1943?  Try this post.

For the last few days I’ve been getting the error

Failed to connect to EA Online

every time I try to go into the multiplayer section of Battlefield: Bad Company.

I’m pretty sure it isn’t a problem at my end, since I haven’t changed anything and it was working fine the day before yesterday :(

EDIT: For anyone else having this problem – I did nothing and it just started working one day, so just keep trying

    Hi. 3 days last week tried to connect....Connection failed. Friday connected at 9.30pm kept signed in till ready to play, was ok throughout duration being connected. Sat no good, Sunday (yesterday 24/7/10) signed in at 9.45 connected ok. Today Monday 25/7/2010 @ 18.20 (6.20pm) connection failed. It seems that someone out there is ready to ruin ones pleasure..........Why is this happening?????????????????

    How long did it take for yous to start working again. Because i just played mine the other night and the next day it said failed to connect to EA online. any help apperciated
  • Sometimes it starts working after a few retries, sometimes it doesn't work until the next day

    i have the same problem after 1 disconect by server . when i play the game it disconect me and after that sais the same like for u so it is just an ea problem i donot give somebody my beta key so i dont know whats happening there

    im having the same problem i can internet and log on Playstation network account but EA can't seem to connect with my PSN-account
    it says
    "connection:
    Failed to connect to PLAYSTATION©Network"

    pain in the ass!

    I just tried as well with my XBOX 360 and Bad Company and it says "Failed to Connect to EA", I also can't play Battlefield 1943.

    that same problem just happend to me yesterday, does anyone know for how long does it normally stop working before its fixed

    I also cannot connect to EA online. I can connect to Playstation Network, but come Bad Company, It refuses to let me in. WHY?!?!?!?!?!

    Hi, i have the same Problem and was since Microsoft update the servers on september 28,,, i cannot understand why.
