Image via WikipediaI have in the past had some less than pleasant experiences pre-ordering games from Amazon. Somehow I never learn.
EA seem to have really gone out of their way to get everyone to pre-order Battlefield: Bad Company. If you pre-order the regular version, you get one of the guns unlocked for free. If you pre-order either version from Amazon, you get $10 back.
So after all of that effort to get people to pre-order it, what happens on the day the game comes out (the 23rd)?

Perhaps I haven't said this loud enough in the past: when I pre-order a game, I want it on the day it comes out!
Otherwise what's the point?
You can't tell me that EA haven't had warehouses full of the things for weeks...
P.S. how do I get links to Amazon use my Amazon Associates id? All I can find is the stupid widget maker - I don't want a widget, I want a URL!
